Happy 11months Sweet Bennett!

Another busy month and another busy one is about to begin. I know May 28th will be here before we know it, and already I get a knot in my throat just thinking about it. Seems like this time last year, I was waddling around with a big watermelon in my tummy counting down the weeks until my sweet boy would arrive, and now it's almost a year later. What a joy you are!

It has been a busy month with new words (woof, up, quack, this), new foods (you eat just about everything now), you've mastered running instead of walking and don't crawl at all anymore. New teeth...finally your top teeth have arrived, new adventures (finally staying in Waumba Land at church), and playing and exploring new things. You are definitely ON THE GO in a big way! This year has been amazing and my cup truly runneth over because of you and your sissy. Now to pictures of your 11month!

Strawberry Pickin

On the chillest spring day we headed to Southern Belle Farms with the Gwyn girls to pick our own red juicy berries. Ava & Lilley Kate had fun running up and down the rows looking for the biggest berries. Vada also loved the berries, however sweet girl was more interested in eaten them right up on the spot...who wants to wait to get home right? Sweet Bennett walked around too and tried a red strawberry of his own. The day couldn't have been more perfect and we look forward to another adventure with the Gwyn girls soon!

Happy Easter!

What a perfect Easter weekend! The warm spring weather was the perfect addition to a perfect Easter Sunday! While all the bunnies and chicks are cute, something about the magic of Spring & Christ rising from the dead fills me up and renews my soul. It reminds me of what is important and restores my faith and hope in man kind. Easter truly is the "bigger" picture and I love every moment of it. Add in one special family including two pretty amazing kids and life could not be more perfect.

We had a wondeful weekend. We alternate holidays, so this Easter was spent in Cornelia. We had tons of fun and the weekend flew buy. Here are lots of my favorite shots from the weekend.

Dying eggs...she couldn't wait! Notice how the green cup is empty...seconds prior fast fingers freddy grabbed the cup and threw it all over the place...mostly on Mimi.

After Church...I love the flower cross. Gigi brought us all the most beautiful daffodils to add to the cross.

Twins...I bought their outfits when I was still pregnant with Bennett! My sweet sweet family...amazing we got 4 people looking in one direction at the same time.

Gigi & G-Paw with their great-grandchildren! So blessed to have them part of our babies lives, and it is so wonderful passing down traditions we did when we were kids to Ava & Bennett.
At the end of a wonderful day...there is nothing better than snoozing on your daddy's chest!
