Hippity Hoppity...Easter 2006

We had a wonderful first Easter with Ava. She really enjoyed opening ALL of her Easter baskets and loved to see all the suprises that were tucked inside.

After church we went over to Gigi and Great Grandpa's house for a great Easter lunch. Ava first enjoyed eating pears and chicken with Gigi, then she chowed down with the rest of the family on some sweet potatoes and green beans!

We look forward to next year when Ava can actually hunt for Easter eggs instead of eating them!

A fish tale!

Last weekend we went to Callaway Gardens to help Nick's great Aunt Martha celebrate her 82nd Birthday! We had a wonderful lunch and got to spend some quality time with the Morrow and Helm's families.

This weekend we continued to help Aunt Martha celebrate as we all took a trip to the Georgia Aquarium. Ava found that people watching was much more fun than looking at all the fish! We look forward to taking Ava back to the aquarium later this year.

Move over Elmer Fud...

Here comes Ava Morrow!!! Well not unless Ralph Lauren comes out with a stylish camo print. This picture was taken courtesy of daddy during his "daddy" time on Sunday. Nick taught Ava how to sit in the woods for a turkey hunt, organize his tackle box and even how to wash the car.

Where does the time go???

We can't believe it's already April!!! Time sure does fly when you're having fun. The past month has been really busy with all kinds of fun and exciting activities. Ava keeps on getting taller and taller and taller, and her pants keep getting shorter shorter and shorter! She continues to be quite the ham and has learned to wave bye bye and can almost play pat-a-cake. She loves to scoot backwards, but hasn't quite mastered moving her legs and arms forward at the same time. No rush though...we know that day will come soon enough.

Ava has really enjoyed lounging outside in her stroller or in the grass. She especially loves sporting her variety of hats and sunglasses.





We can't wait for warmer days to arrive when we can spend time with friends and family at the lake and beach. We hope all of you are having a wonderful spring!
