This one is just for Ava!

Bennett gets his own post every month, and Ava has been just as busy...so this post is just for her. Sweet girl is already 4 1/2 and is growing up so fast. She is the sweetest little girl and shares the same determination as her brother. She is a wonderful big sister and loves B so very much. She's struggled in the past few months with having to share the attention, but we are working on it and she is getting to do her own special things. She is tall and super skinny, runs faster than any 4yr old I know, loves to learn, is learning to read more and more every day, has the biggest imagination and is very artistic.

She is headed to a new school for Kindergarten next year, and is a little apprehensive, but yesterday she told me she was super excited! She tested in the 95% tile for her new school so we know she will do great! She is my little buddy, and I'm going to miss her so much when she goes off to school next year.

She's amazing and we are so proud of her!

Here are just a few fun things we've done the past month.

Happy 10 months Bennett!

Well time is flying towards the 1year mark...which personally I am not ready for! Bennett continues to grow and develop right on track and is such a joy to be around. He is a combination of sweet and fiesty. He is the most determined child and doesn't give up easily. He continues to be a very happy baby.

This month our sleep got back on track, he took his first steps and continues to get into everything. He had a scary bought with the croup, but recovered quickly. In 3 weeks he gained 8oz & grew almost an inch in length. He needs 18month or 24month clothes for the stride, but has short chunky legs and can wear 9months.

He can wave bye bye, claps, shakes his head no, and signs a few simple things. He can say: mama, dada, doggie (not just dog), Ava, siss, no, bye, go, yay, up. And tries to say many other words when we say them.

We are so glad that spring has arrived and he loves being outside.

I needed to put him somewhere and since he is into everything, I put him in the swing. 5 minutes later I found him like this. Sweet sleepy boy!

Loves to cook in the playroom kitchen. When he turns up missing, I can always find him playing kitchen.
