Happy Birthday JESUS!
After a quick night's sleep the kiddos were super excited and ready to see if Santa came.  We made them wait upstairs as we checked to see if Santa was able to find us in Cornelia.  Needless to say from all the pictures below...he did.
Group shot...matching PJ's and all.  You can imagine how thrilled Nick was to see the green plaid pajama pants Mimi and bought for him.  He was a good sport though and it made the day even more special.
First everyone opened up their stockings.
My two matching babies.  Does anyone know how hard is to find cute Pj's for a 5yr old girl and a 18month old boy?  Harder than one would think, so thank you Hana Anderson!
Santa brought Bennett a new train table!
Papa Santa.  He has been wearing this hat since I can remember.
Mimi and Papa Guy got Ava and Bennett a Gator.  Only spot left in the room was on the dining room table.
Do you think she is excited???
Just give him a Seseme Street book and he is good to go.

New Tonka dump truck and hard hat from Chris & Julie
 A new painting for me!
Love them!  So glad Julie could be with us on Christmas!
 My boys
After a great breakfast, a little dance competition on the Kinect, and a little nap for B, we headed over to Gigi & G-Paw for more great food, family & presents.
Uh Oh...you know it's serious when Mimi gets out her "Do Right" spoon.  Bennett was none to pleased with her.

 Ava and her Mimi
By little Elves.  Probably one of the only pictures I could get of them together.
 Sweet sweet girl
 BB and his Papa
Group shot after a great day!
How can it be??? Everyone is looking at the camera.
We actually ended up having a white Christmas.  It started snowing during breakfast and kept snowing all night.
The day after Christmas and finally getting to play in the snow!  Bennett was not too sure.
Ava on the other hand was in pure heaven!
Finally when Mimi hit him with a snowball he decided the snow was pretty fun.
Testing out the new gator...watch out she's driving!
 Love this picture of them!
We had a wonderful Christmas, and I couldn't think of a better way to celebrate Christ's birth.  He has blessed us in so many ways, and we are thankful we know a loving, forgiving savior.  Happy Birthday JESUS!

Christmas Eve
We kicked off Christmas with some family time with the Morrows and aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. We had a great time spending time with Granny & Pop.
Me and my girl
Nothing better than a new barbie!
Pop and BB had fun opening up presents together.
BB's new ride.  He pretty much stayed inside the car the whole day.
 Ava and Granny
Nick with our sweet niece Kinsley
Poor baby was tuckered out!  He finally fell asleep, but only for about 30 minutes
After a fun, tiring day we finally made it to Cornelia at about 9:15pm.  Poor Bennett...he is falling asleep and doesn't even realize his paci is upside down.
After Bennett went to bed, sweet girl wrote Santa a note, sprinkled reindeer food, and layed out some goodies for Santa and Rudolph.

What a wonderful Christmas Eve...couldn't have been any better!

December...
December...What a whirlwind! From exciting news, to decorating, baking, celebrating birthdays, visiting with Santa, riding the pink pig, school musicals and a dance recital you could say we had a very busy month!
The month started off with some GREAT and long overdue news! Nick is coming HOME! He was offered a great job, actually with his old company. So as of January 1st he will no longer live/work 2hrs away from his family! Needless to say we are super excited at this new opportunity, and even more excited to finally be re-united after 19 very long months. Technically we have never lived together as a family of 4 seven days a week since he left when Bennett was just 5 days old. We are so proud of him and can't wait to have him HOME!!!!!!!!
As always, we decorated for Christmas. Ava helped Bennett decorate his Georgia tree. He so kindly thanked her by throwing the "balls" off the tree.Sweet Ava decorating her tree.
We are so lucky to have a wonderful group of friends near by. Our kids love playing together, and us moms enjoy "playing" together as well. We decorated cookies with the Gwyns, Durdens and Westbrooks. The kids had so much fun and we hope to make it an annual event.
He just ate cookies, didn't care much about decorating them. And my sweet girl :)
Our attempt at a group shot. I think Lincoln, Cora, and Bennett are missing.Ava had her very first dance recital this month. She did a great job. Afterwards, when I asked her if she had fun she said, "no mommy not really" "I don't think I want to do dance anymore, probably would be better to do just gymnastics..." So for now that will just have to be her first/last recital. Ava and a few of her dance friends We were lucky that Papa, G-Paw and Coty stayed with wild thing back at the house. Can you tell he LOVES his Kissy? Could never go to the Pink Pig without Mimi!Ava and Priscilla the Pig. Bennett kept saying No pepoo, no pepoo so that's why he isn't in the picture. We paid Santa little visit. Bennett really wasn't thrilled, but I think it helped to have Ava there with him.He warmed up and was trying to tell Santa (ho ho) something. The kindergartners at Ava's school got to each make their own gingerbread houses. Ava loved it and had so much fun.As always, we made old fashioned "pressed" sugar cookies with Mimi. Happy 80th Birthday Gigi!So glad that Coty and Carey could be there for Gigi's special day. It meant the world to her.Trouble when these two are together...Chris & Julie :)BB and his papa...enough said.My pretty mama and sweet daddy.
Wouldn't be a birthday without cake!Gigi and G-Paw on Gigi's actual birthday. Whew, what a busy month...and we haven't even gotten to Christmas yet!
