Merry Christmas 2006!

After opening up presents at our house, we headed off to Cornelia to celebrate Christmas with Mimi, Papa Guy, Uncle Kiss, Gigi and G-Paw. Little did Ava know, that after a delicious meal made by Gigi that she would get MORE gifts to open. Here

are a few highlights from our wonderful Christmas day.

Ava was

once again thrilled with everything she received.

However, her favorite part was when Gigi let her play her piano. I must admit, Ava did provide some wonderful after dinner music!

This year was truly a wonderful Christmas, especially seeing the glimmer and excitement in Ava's eyes. We hope that all of you had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

Christmas Morning

After such a busy Christmas Eve, Ava decided she wanted to sleep in a little. Nick and I anxiously awaited her royal highness to wake up...and after snuggling in the bed for a few minutes with us she was ready to go! Ava ran to the Christmas tree and squealed with delight! She was espcially delighted with her ice cream truck playhouse and ran right in!

She loved tearing into her gifts and really didn't know what to play with first!

Christmas Eve 2006

This year we spent Christmas Eve with the Morrow family. Here are some pictures of our fun filled day.

Before we could leave, Ava just had to play with her little people Nativity scene. She even picked up the baby Jesus and gave him a kiss before we left.

She had lots of fun opening up gifts with her Granny and Pop; and loved the baby doll they gave her and didn't want to take off her new set of shades.

She enjoyed playing with her Aunt Katie and Uncle Adam; and especially liked opening up gifts with her cousin Andy. Needless to say, Ava was quite tuckered out, and fell right asleep once we got home...but not after we set out some cookies, milk and reindeer food for Santa and Rudolph!
