Fall Fun and Halloween!

Fall, my most favorite time of the year and what a busy, crazy, one it was!  Fall was full of Bennett's first grandparent's day, his first fieldtrip, fall festivals, Halloween and then Thanksgiving.  Before we know it it will be December!
Bennett and his class headed to Southern Belle Farms for their fieldtrip. It was such a fun, pretty fall day and everyone had tons of fun!

He enjoyed his first Grandparent's Day with Mimi and Granny!

Then it was Pre-school fall festival time.  We pulled out the Jack Sparrow costume one more time.

They had so much fun "horse racing."
Halloween fell during the middle of the week, so we just decided to spend the night together and planned a fun night eating pizza and having our very own scavenger hunt!  This year we had a sweet octopus and her sidekick the not so scary shark.

The last clue of the scavenger hunt...at each clue they got a prize...instead of candy.

We spent a fun Thanksgiving with Nick's family this year.  I only got one picture of my two little turkeys, as we were too busy spending time having fun! To say that we have an over abundance of things to be thankful for would be an understatement.  God has richly blessed us and we thank him everyday for guiding our family along his path.  I pray that we can continue to glorify his name in the coming year!

MICKEY MOUSE!

When Mimi said that Papa had a conference in Orlando, we put our heads together and put together a little trip to see the mouse!  The last time we went Ava was 4 and Bennett was 5 months AND Nick wasn't with us so it was definitely time to go again!  We had a great time and made many special memories.
They were only just a little bit excited the morning we headed to Magic Kingdom...

All the boy wanted to do was drive, drive and drive some more!

We let the boys take the kids on the tea cups. Of course Papa did what he does best and spun that cup around like crazy!

I didn't think they would love all of the shows and parades, but it turns out they happened to be two of their most favorite things!

We stayed at the Art of Animation in the Little Mermaid rooms. We loved it!  Three great pools and lots to do!  The water was a tad chilly, but Ava and Bennett could have cared less!
Cars....need I say more. He had to have his picture with every.single.car! Ava gave up after the first few!

We had tickets on Saturday night to Mickey's Not so Scary, so we took Ava to the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique.  You would have thought you gave her a million dollars!

Every where we went that night...every single person at Disney called her "Princess." Bennett borrowed a Jack Sparrow costume from a friend so he was ready for the fun night too!

Mickey's Not so Scary was awesome!  We rode every ride several times with no wait, went trick or treating, saw characters, fireworks, shows, parades, danced with Woody, Bullseye and Jesse.

Can you tell they are done!  It was almost midnight in this picture and they were both plain worn out!
One of the best times ever...can't wait to go back soon!
