Surf's Up!!!

Today was super hot, so Ava thought it would be nice to take her very first dip in the pool. First however, she had to decide which swim suit she would sport. As you can see, she decided on the surf shorts and matching bathing top.

She loved the pool! She especially had fun with the watering can. She loved when we held it up in the air and poured it into her hands.

She loved crawling around in the pool and kept playing for over an hour. When we got her out...she growled at us!

All said and done, Ava had a great day playing in her pool. She can't wait to sport her bikini and stylish one piece someday soon.

We haven't posted in a while, so we thought we would just share a few pictures from all our busy activities this month. We have been quite busy from Mother's Day, to weddings and then running around getting things ready for our new house. In our spare time Ava has been busy learning to scoot, walk with help and bounce around in her Johnny Jump Up.

Well Ava will officially be 9 months old on the 26th. We headed off to Dr. Kuo's this week for our 9 month check-up. Dr. Kuo was once again very happy with Ava's progress. She was a nice 18lbs. 4oz and 27 1/2 inches long!

Today, I dropped Ava off with her Mimi. Nick and I have to attend a funeral, then we are off to Savannah for Natalie and Jon's wedding. We will miss her sooooooo much and can't wait to get back on Monday!

Yum...Cookie Monster!
Last week, we discovered that Ava has 4 bottom teeth that are getting ready to burst thru the surface. We decided to give her a biter biscuit to see if we could give those teeth a little help.
Needless to say...Ava dived right into the biscuit and didn't want to put it down!

Still no teeth, but it seems that Ava has found a new favorite food!

After a brief dunk the tub, Ava was all clean and ready for some more!
