Happy 9 months Bennett Parker! We had a great day! Our sweet Bennett turned 9months & we celebrated our 6 year anniversary...my how time flies! These two pics are from his attempt at a 9month photo session with Karen. Of course she got some great shots...which was a miracle considering he cried the majority of the time. Can't wait to see the other great pics she got. This month we have busy busy busy! Bennett had his first ear infection (accompanied by severe stomach issues I won't discuss), followed by two new bottom teeth, said so many new words, stands on his own for up to 20seconds, has really started to play with Ava, DID NOT sleep well the entire month, and continues to be our great eater. He can say: dada, daddy, mama, ADA (ava), siss siss, dog, duck, go, no no (shakes his head at the same time back and forth), eat (he cries it EEEEAAAATTT when he is hungry), moo and tries to repeat any word we say to him. To say he is into everything is an understatement! He is definitely on the move in a big way.
At his 9 month appointment he weighed: 19lbs 14oz (50%) and was 28.5" long (75%). Dr. Kuo said he would have been well over 20lbs if he hadn't of gotten so sick. He is doing great and only had 1 shot.
Here are some fun pictures from our busy busy February.
Loves the water & has no fear when dunking his head underneath.
Loves to play with Ava. He really enjoyed riding in her stroller one morning.Crawling around. And no they aren't leg warmers...they are crawler covers!
This was taken after we got back from pictures with Karen...nice smile!
Our attempt at his 9 month photos. It is almost a comedy routine. You can tell in this picture how long his torso is.

Stop...this is MY Paper!
Sweet Thing!
I AM THE KING OF THE CRIB!

Kind of looks beat up. Woke up with a scratch on his face, busted his lip & chin on the coffee table. But still precious anyway!

I imagine it is quite possible I will be posting before March 28th that he is walking...if not see you at 10 months!

A Glimpse of Spring
Sunday, we headed to one of our favorite parks...which apparently everyone else in Henry County did as well. We spent a few hours playing in the warm spring sunshine. Of course I brought my camera and here are a few pics of our day.

My Loves!
Two of my very favorite people in the whole wide world! God has certainly blessed Nick and I with two amazing babies to love!
Happy Valentine's Day!
Poor Bennett, was feeling good and his sweet sister was trying to tell him it would all be okay. Now...if that isn't LOVE I don't know what is!

Let it snow...Let it snow...Let it snow!
They said it would snow and they were right! It started around lunch time and was snowing so hard you could barely see outside! Usually the north side of Atlanta get's all the action, but usually once a year we get a good snow fall. This was after about only 2-3hours of snow.
Woke up from a nap and was so excited to see it finally started to snow! Found them like this at the back door. Melted my heart to hear Ava explaining to Bennett how God made it cold enough for the rain to turn into snow.

Heading outside Friday night about 6pm. She just couldn't wait for daddy to get home so we could go outside together.

Hey...don't forget me!

Daddy and his little man.

So excited!
Did not like sitting in the snow!
All better now!

Sweet angel boy. Can you see the snowflakes on his mile long eyelashes?
Not quite sure...why she looks a little scared in this pic.

Going down the slide is more fun when it is covered in snow!
Saturday morning we woke up to 5-6 inches of snow! The sun was shining and it was so pretty outside. Poor Bennett was not feeling well and was sleeping so we headed outside (with the baby monitor) and played for a couple of hours. It reminded me of when Chris and I were little kids.

Busy building Ava's first snowman. She told Nick he needed to accessorize a little more, and found him a cowboy hat and lei.

Mr. Frosty...the final product. He was only a small ball by 5pm, as the warm sunshine melted him away.
