A Time to be Thankful
Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. Not just the good food (because I can get that all year), but spending quality time together. 2009 has been a very joyous and challenging year for us; however on this day my heart was overflowing with thankfulness. No matter how tough it gets, I always take time throughout the day to look around and focus on the blessings that are in our life. God has blessed us with two amazing, healthy & thriving children. We have the most wonderful family and friends. We don't go hungry like so many others. I get to stay at home with my beautiful children each and every day. I have a husband who sacrifices missing out on moments with his children while he lives & works 2hours away, because right now that is the best job he can find. Each day is a miracle and a blessing. So do what I do when I feel like I just can't take it anymore...look around it's the small things in life like seeing your children sitting on the floor playing together. I promise you won't have to look very far to discover that you too are tremendously blessed!
Okay...here's my favorite part. Pictures from our day together.
Uncle Kissy is the best!
