A Time to be ThankfulThanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. Not just the good food (because I can get that all year), but spending quality time together. 2009 has been a very joyous and challenging year for us; however on this day my heart was overflowing with thankfulness. No matter how tough it gets, I always take time throughout the day to look around and focus on the blessings that are in our life. God has blessed us with two amazing, healthy & thriving children. We have the most wonderful family and friends. We don't go hungry like so many others. I get to stay at home with my beautiful children each and every day. I have a husband who sacrifices missing out on moments with his children while he lives & works 2hours away, because right now that is the best job he can find. Each day is a miracle and a blessing. So do what I do when I feel like I just can't take it anymore...look around it's the small things in life like seeing your children sitting on the floor playing together. I promise you won't have to look very far to discover that you too are tremendously blessed!
Okay...here's my favorite part. Pictures from our day together.

Happy Half Birthday Sweet B!

A half of year old! Next time I blink my eyes it will be May of 2010! Sweet B continues to grow and grow and grow. His personality has really started to shine. He is very curious and is starting to learn cause and effect. He is not shy and isn't afraid to turn on his charm. He's eating us out of house and home and only really gets upset when it is time to chow down.
He babbles constantly, says dada, Ada (ava) and other "words". If Ava "roars" (yes like a lion) at him he will "roar" right back as if to say Hey...I'm right here. He doesn't like to be alone and wants to have someone in his sight at all times.
He is so strong, sits up like a champ, rolls where he wants to go (right now underneath the Christmas tree), gets out of his bumbo...then laughs, and flips his bouncy seat upside down. Don't worry he hasn't gotten hurt on the last two. I didn't think you were suppose to get out of the bumbo, but several times I look over and he's lying on the floor next to it trying to go somewhere.
He wants ANYTHING of Ava's, and sweet girl is struggling with that. He love to tear up her paper creations if he can get his hands on it.
He continues to sleep well and is so very happy! November flew by and we look forward to Christmas and a New Year! Here's a quick photo recap of our busy month.

The Great Camp Out
Nick and Todd Meyers have been planning a camp out with the girls for months! Finally the weather cooled off . So they got their girls and their gear together for a camp out Morrow style...in our backyard.
The girls were so excited to just spend time together. Brooke and Todd were sure that Camille and Quinn WOULD NOT sleep outside. However once the time came to go to bed, they were tough cookies and were excited to sleep outside.
The day of the camp out the girls played for hours, set up their tents, went on a treasure hunt (planned by Nick), roasted hot dogs and smores. They had a great time and look forward to making it an annual tradition. A tradition that will most likely take place a little earlier in the year...as it ended up being one of the coldest temps in 2009!
Setting up the tents earlier in the day
Reading the clues for the treasure huntThey found their prizes and some goofy faces!Roasting SmoresUh oh....she's up to something!Everyone ready for bedGood Morning!
