Ski Bunny!!!

Well our first family vacation was a huge success! We left for our annual ski trip to Utah on February 2nd with 1 Mimi, 1 Papa Guy, 1 Uncle "Kiss", 1 Mommy & Daddy, 1 baby, and 15 bags! While last year Ava was self contained and only the size of a firefly this year was quite different as she was raring to go!

She did great on the plane and found her surroundings quite entertaining. After arriving safe and sound in Salt Lake City we had a short drive and got settled at the hotel. That night Ava got ready in her "snow bunny" gear and she couldn't wait to see her first snow the next morning.

We hit the slopes bright and early, and Ava had a lot of fun sitting in her pack n' play people watching and smiling at everyone around her. She even made a few friends one of which was a 23lb 30" long 5 month old little boy from Michigan! Ava wasn't scared of him even though he was twice her size.

That afternoon we ventured outside and played in the snow. Even though it was very cold she stayed quite warm in her bunny suit, pink glasses and baby uggs.

We all took turns during the trip watching her which worked out really well. The last day we brought the back pack so Nick could ski with Ava down the mountain; but the weather was almost below zero and it was snowing like crazy so we decided to just play in the snow instead. We had a great trip back and can't wait until next year...maybe Ava will be able to try on her first set of skis!!!
